On Thursday 25 October, The Great Grog Company are holding a wine tasting at The No 1 Chocolate Factory with us supplying the complementary chocolates.

The Grogsters will be providing a whopping 50 wines, all of which have been specially selected to compliment the taste and luxury of our exquisite chocolates.

Tickets £16 – cost redeemable against a case purchase, and can be bought in advance or on the door.

Over the next few weeks we’ll be introducing some new products including our very own homemade ice cream! We’ll also be launching our online store so that you can purchase our delicious chocolate products, no matter where in the world you are! Watch this space!

Come Learn With Us

Over the last few weeks we have been joined by several groups of kids from primary schools, high schools, after-school clubs, Brownies, Guides and more… 100′s of kids have taken part in our chocolate making workshops; including 30 teens from Trinity Academy, who came in for a business management tutorial from us. We were also joined by 30 kids from Stenhousemuir Primary School who enjoyed learing about chocolate making. We’d like to say a big thanks to all the kids who attended and hope you enjoyed the experience as much as we did!

We were delighted to host Chloe’s 7th birthday party today – our first official birthday party in the chocolate factory. Everyone had a great time playing with chocolate and making fantastic chocolate creations. Thanks Lee (Mum) for booking with us and bringing everyone along.

Glasgow’s very own chocolate factory opened its doors on Monday, so gather up your chocolaholic friends and join us for some indulgence. If you’ve walked past our windows, you may have noticed the transformation going on inside – we’ve been turning 63 St Georges Road into a light yet cosy family friendly cafe and chocolate factory, and getting ready to welcome you through our doors.

The cafe offers home-baked cakes, outstanding sandwiches, soups, worth-a-detour coffee and light meals. We’re open 12 hours a day, 7 days a week, so no matter when you fancy your coffee or hot chocolate, we’ll be ready to serve you.

Bring your kids (or adults!) to be entertained in our chocolate-making workshops. We should warn you that they could leave with a messy face… Or if you take your chocolate very seriously, and want to learn how to make them from scratch, you can book in to a class at our chocolate academy. For those who want to enjoy their chocolate in the most leisurably way, you can of course pop into the shop and simply pick up that perfect gift made especially for you by our wonderful chocolatiers.
